Freelance Graphic Design

Graphic Design work is a hobby of mine, and I primarily use Procreate and Adobe Illustrator to design them!

 Duke Diya Logo

Duke Diya is Duke University’s south asian student association, and hired me to create a logo for them. They wanted the main two elements to be a traditional indian diya after their own name to be represented somehow, and in colors that are non-denominational to south asian religions.

The client chose the first option and wanted a change to the font, and for the flames and yellows of the logo to be brightened up.

This is what we ended up with:

Mysore Magic

Mysore Magic is a short film (to be released) set in Mysore, India in the 1980s. It follows the love story of the director of this film, and I worked on the set design as well as graphics to support the set. One set was in a movie theater, and I created 5 graphics to represent movie posters from the time and area to add to the set. This project was especially fun for me as my heritage goes back to the area, and I actually speak the language represented (Kannada)!

 Veranda Vending Consulting

Veranda Vending Consulting hired me to create a logo that displays a vending machine, as the company primarily worked with that product. There was no specified color scheme other than a request to try shades of blue. I made a few options trying a retro theme along with the vending machine, then made one more option without the machine as a suggestion to the client if their consulting services were projected to expand from vending machines in the future.

The client took all of the options and independently made a decision for their brand!
